Bangla Brumies is based on Bangladeshi immigrants' lives in the 70’s in Small Heath area of Birmingham. The comedy production portrayed Asian lives in Birmingham from a different point of view and addressed some serious issues in a fun way. The story follows the journey of Bangladeshi immigrants and highlights their struggles and dreams, whilst also touching at important issues such as race and religion.  This play also challenges Asian stereotypes and promotes positive contribution to society.
