Commissioned work by Birmingham City Council arts Team 2021-22

Celebrating 50 years of Bangla and British Bangladeshi identity in Birmingham. Our project is to Engage British Bangladeshi creative practitioners working in Birmingham and encourage them to develop their activities with professional artists and support them to showcase their creative activities in a week in December and a week in March: online and in different communities centers.

A) This was project was a wonderful opportunity for Purbanat to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh Independence.

B) Purbanat gained new experience in arranging a film festival, the first of its kind in Birmingham.

C) New volunteers get involved in this project, which strengthens Purbanat as an organisation.
